How do I like my Negroes? Well Done! Chicago Black Woman Found Burning Under A S.U.V. & In Another Incident Another Black Body Found Burning In A Kia Vehicle On Chicago's South Side

The body of a woman was discovered underneath a burning SUV this morning in one of two instances where people were found dead in burning vehicles in the Gresham neighborhood today, officials said.

Police and firefighters discovered the Kia on fire in an alley on the 8600 block of South Honore Street around 7:45 a.m., according to Police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco. A woman's body was found under it.

The Chicago Police Department Arson Unit was investigating.

Joy Wilkins said her husband walked out of their home and saw the burning SUV. Then he spotted the body.

"Her body was burning, the car was burning. The body was half way out from under the car," said Wilkins. "He said there was nothing he could do. He wished he could pull her out but he was afraid the car would explode."

She said her husband called 911 and then told her what he had seen.

"I said, 'Oh my God.' I felt horrible for her and felt horrible for her family," said Wilkins. "When you've been living in a place for 22 years, you don't expect to walk out your back door to find a burning body."

Officials also reported that another person had been found earlier, in another burning vehicle in the Gresham neighborhood this morning, according to officials.
